We are a small, informal group that is not affiliated directly with any national organization. We grew out of the Women's March of 2017 when a bunch of strangers gathered together via NextDoor to resist and reverse the GOP/Trump agenda.
We meet in the Noe Valley Library on the second Sunday each month, often from 3 to 4:30 PM. Everyone is welcome. Most meetings are a mixture of planning for action and current political discussion. We contact Members of Congress, write postcards, and discuss ways to support our fellow resistors in other groups. Because we are small, it's easy for individuals to make their voices heard. You can also find us tabling at the Noe Valley Farmer's Market on the third Saturday of each month from 9 AM to Noon. We work closely with other resistance groups like Stand Up San Francisco, Swing Left San Francisco, Democracy Action, and Indivisible SF. Saturday, March 24, we gathered neighbors in Noe Valley before merging with the masses at the #MarchForOurLives Rally at SF Civic Center. We joined in the demand for for common sense gun control legislation, an end to gun violence, and that our lives and safety become a priority in our schools and communities.
